We drove up from Springfield to meet friends visiting from Eastern Oregon. Found this restaurant because of reviews on Yelp. Excellent choice! The food was great and the customer service was excellent. The atmosphere was perfect to catch up. There were 6 of us. Made a reservation ahead of time but probably wasn't necessary. We definitely will be back.
We were driving to Portland from Newport and craving Mexican food. While I drove, my husband had the task to "find a place" and it had to meet all of the criteria: Over 4 yelp score, good health inspection reviews, not far off freeway, wine/beer, can see our car while we dine (computers, dog, etc. in car), and nice photos of inside and yummy looking food! Well, husband found the place. Super clean. Beautiful wood working on the booths. So many choices on the menu. The lunch combo at $10.95 was delicious and tons of food. The service was excellent. The staff were happy people and very welcoming. We are excited to return back when we have more time and try a margarita! I've already told a few friends about Garibaldi. Very delish. Thank you Yelp for guiding us!
Food was very good. Enjoyed the fresh chips and we bought more chips and salsa to go. The fajitas (steak) were tender and flavorful. There were a lot of onions and peppers which I enjoy. Additionally the Spanish rice was probably the best I have had, full of flavor! The service was good!!
Legit Mexican food with a great ambiance. With the music and decor I was transported back to Mexico! Food was authentic and so tasty. Complimentary homemade chips to start. I so wanted to give them the five stars had the fajitas not been loaded with mostly onions! Great service and I look forward to coming back and trying other items off their menu.
Decided to try a different Mexican restaurant. Glad we did! Service was good, drinks and food was great. We will go back!
Oh my I had my Bible study at Garibaldi's. Hats off to the staff. We took 16 children and about 6 adults and they were so patient and kind to our babies. We have an autistic child and he was excited, nosey and rocking his chair. They were considerate. Now let's talk about the food. It was homemade delicious and just what the doctor ordered for a cold Rainey Salem night. I give them 11 points. I will differently go back.
Great food!! Came here for dinner with friends and really enjoyed the food. Didn't get our silverware until after the food came, only one napkin for three people. Awesome food but maybe they were a bit busy. We cleaned the plates!!
Super clean and super great ambiance!!! The staff was incredible. They answered all our questions, smiled and laughed with us and checked on us quite a few times. The foot was amazing. I'm literally starving right now just thinking of how good it was. I have to warn you though - the portions are HUGE! So don't over order unless of course you want seconds for later :) (Seriously, the platter in my photos was listed an an appetizer lol) The queso was to die for and some of the best I've ever had. The entrees were equally amazing and the margaritas are the size of your head. Enjoy! Can't go wrong here!!
